Fashola Resumes Immediately And Here’s What Happened

Nigeria’s new Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola, on Wednesday assumed duty immediately after the inauguration of the federal cabinet by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Fashola was welcomed into the Federal Secretariat by rousing ovation from the staff of the ministry around 3.00 p.m.

According to the Guardian, Fashola was ushered in by Mrs Grace Papka, the Director in charge of Human Resources of the ministry after which he met privately with directors in the ministry.
The new Minister of state for Power, Works and Housing, Alhaji Mustapha Shehuri, also arrived at the complex where he joined Fashola and the directors at the meeting.
